Paul Brent has been licensing his images since 1988 and currently licenses his designs with over 80 companies to create products for sale worldwide. To date, retail sales of his licensed products have exceeded $64M. These product categories include items such as handbags, ceramic tile, bath coordinates, apparel, stationery, rugs, ceramic ware and kitchen textiles. Paul Brent’s work has appeared at retail in Lord and Taylor, Macys, Horchow Catalog, Coldwater Creek, Dillard’s, JC Penney’s, Kohl’s, and Target, to mention a few.

Paul Brent was a winner in the Best Artist category in the Best of Florida Awards sponsored by Florida magazine. He was also nominated by The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA) for the categories of "Best Overall License of the Year" and "Best License of the Year" at its annual Excellence in Licensing Awards. He was also included in an article in the Wall Street Journal that described the phenomena of artists achieving success outside of the New York gallery scene.
