We are proud to announce our
new concept for our Collectors’ Society. A new piece of artwork, in
oil, was created for this year’s limited edition giclée. The subject
is the Econfina Creek just north of Panama City. Along the creek are
various springs feeding the waters, which eventually empty into
Deerpoint Lake, the source of Panama City’s drinking water. My
painting is of an especially picturesque spot on the creek where
Gainer Springs delivers pristine water into a limestone formation in
the creek’s bed. The overhanging Sabal Palm, the state tree of
Florida, is a distinctive landmark along the water’s edge and
contributes to the overall beauty of the location. I hope you enjoy
this painting depicting one of the truly unspoiled locations in
Florida. The original of this painting is one of the panels in the
mural I created for the new Bay County Library.
