This print of the Cape May Lighthouse and the town of Cape May , New Jersey is from an original watercolor by Paul Brent. The light house is shown facing the ocean with the morning sun rising. Pastel tones of pink, lavender and blue tint the sky. The current Cape May Lighthouse was built in 1859 and replaced other lighthouses built in 1824 and 1847.
