The Lorain Lighthouse in Lorain, Ohio, was built in 1910. The light is atop a building with a pitched roof and shuttered windows. Painted in watercolor on a bright sunny day with sailboats and its flag flying in the breeze it stands as one of Lake Erie's proudest symbols.
